Extension Install Quote Calculator

Price a new install off grams, hours and your real landed cost of hair, then hand the client a clean quote.

  • Your landed cost per gram once freight, GST and wastage are in, then a hair price and a fitting price that pay for the hair, your time and the consult
  • Cut, colour, toner and blow-wave as their own lines, priced off your hourly rate or your menu
  • A client quote with every line, the GST and the hair deposit, ready to print, save as a PDF or paste into a message

How it works

Your numbers in. A decision out.

  1. Buy it

Pay once by card. Your access link usually lands in your inbox within a minute.

  2. Type in your numbers

It opens with sample numbers so you can see how it works. Type over them with yours.

  3. Read the answer

Green, amber or red against targets you can change, with what to do about it in plain English.

  4. Run it again

Rent goes up, minimum wage moves, you hire. Open it and re-run. It's yours.

Have these handy

What you'll need

  • What you pay per pack and the pack weight
  • Grams and hours for a typical install
  • Your hourly rate target

Good guesses are fine for a first run. You can tighten them later and the answer updates as you type.

Built for here

New Zealand rules, already in

  • GST at 15% worked in for you, with the $60,000 registration line
  • This year's minimum wage, KiwiSaver, ACC and income tax, wherever the tool needs them
  • Holiday pay, public holidays and sick leave counted in any wage it works out
  • Card fees counted on what clients pay

When a rate changes, we update it once and every buyer gets it. See the rates we use.
